Lantis Kumikyoku featuring Nico Nico Artists (J, Gomu, nayuta, Re:, nodoame, A-nee, yonji, shachou, sariya-jin, Zebra, Gazelle) came out today, one day before it was supposed to.

The general impression is dissapointment. Lantis couldn’t create a decent medley. Half the songs are really unknown or uninteresting to most people (a random grab at Lantis’ worst possible titles?), the connections between songs are not particularly good, the arrangements are strange, and it’s by far the worst medley compilation I ever heard (Lucky Star Kumikyoku that came out under Lantis label was quite good). The singers tried hard but also were a little off-focus compared to what they put out on nico (and with such a medley who can blame them). The cover CD by same artists that comes out a month from now doesn’t give much hope either, because the song selection is, again, horrid. let’s get back to nico nico’s medleys, shall we? (and there’s plenty)
